JOB SUMMARY
Producing, implementing and driving all current and future resident involvement strategies action plans and residents initiatives. The post holder will see initiatives through to a successful outcome, ensuring that best practice is promoted within the organisation and externally. Improving resident satisfaction in relation to involvement opportunities.
Proactively working to increase the level of resident involvement. This will include leading resident representatives, and Presentation staff to sustain existing and encourage new residents associations and engage with residents at large. This will necessitate publicity, including identifying areas where there is potential for new associations and other forms of resident involvement.
Providing practical support for residents associations, identifying training needs of new groups and existing associations. Developing through the use of specialist contractors a comprehensive training programme for residents, delivering the core of the programme within the available budget. Organising and accompanying group visits to other resident groups, training sessions, and facilities in other areas. Providing assistance for resident groups in the use of IT and specialist software, e.g. Funder Finder, Grass Routes etc. Providing advice on all resident involvement matters.
